This hooded cardigan topped with a classic tassel is knit with an exceptionally beautiful "knit below" stitch. Note: This pattern has been recently simplified for ease of knitting. It makes a outstanding baby gift.

The kit contains a detailed pattern, four balls of our sportweight, naturally pure organic cotton yarn (12 ounces), five U.S. wooden buttons (with instructions on how to handpaint--or leave natural!) buttons and a handmade tassel, everything except the knitting needles--US# 6 recommended.

The pattern is written for an experienced knitter and is graded for a 12 month, 18 month or 24 month sized cardigan. We recently added more detail to the pattern to make starting the pattern stitch more straightforward.
